What to tell us

The more of this you can give us, the more useful the first conversation is:

• Your suburb, and the street if you are comfortable giving it. Hunters Hill and Woolwich are a different planning situation to Marsfield, and we would rather know at the start.
• What you have noticed. A stain on a ceiling, a drip during heavy rain only, a tile on the lawn, a gutter that overflows at one corner, moss across a whole roof face.
• The roof type if you know it — terracotta or concrete tile, metal sheeting, slate, or a flat or low-pitch section.
• Roughly how old the house is. Inter-war, post-war, 1970s, new.
• Whether it is a house, a townhouse, a unit block or a commercial building. Strata work usually starts with a report rather than a repair.
• Any deadline. Pre-auction inspections and insurance timelines are real and we will work to them if we know about them.

What happens next

An established, licensed and insured roofing contractor inspects the roof and the ceiling space at no cost, photographs anything that matters, and you receive a written quote with the work itemised. There is no obligation to proceed and no charge if you do not.

Completed work carries a written workmanship warranty. In New South Wales, residential building work over $5,000 including GST is carried out under a licence and a written contract.
